This will be our 13th year of hosting the best performing arts Summer Camps.  RMCT has created a successful and powerful environment in which young actors can flourish in the Rocky Mountain region and also in South Florida, and we are excited to be invited to host our 5th season in suburban Chicago in Naperville's phenomenal downtown district at The Little Theatre at Community United Methodist Church.  We look forward to inspiring the youth of Illinois with our unique brand of performance training.  Camp with RMCT is a brilliant alternative to day care, one-week camps or multi-focus camps without a culmination of experience to celebrate your child's accomplishments, and we are also a price-effective option for parents who wish to keep their kids local without sacrificing quality of training and exposure to seasoned, professional instructors.  It will be an amazing time full of fun and learning experiences for your kids. Our program is designed to provide youth with a place to nurture their creative instinct and develop a connection to the stage, while being guided by RMCT Founder & Artistic Director Anthony Hubert, and along with his exciting, young company of professional actors and directors. Your children will showcase and improve their talents as they enjoy the summer with us in Naperville.  Kids love our fun & highly-skilled staff!

Rocky Mountain Conservatory Theatre's Summer Camp 2019 will be held at Naperville's The Little Theatre @ Community United Methodist Church! The venue is located at 20 North Center Street, Naperville, IL 60540.  Our performances will take place on the large stage right there in the church's main space, and students will spend time working in other classrooms in which camp will take place. HERE is a link to MapQuest showing the distance between your location and the our venue, and HERE is a link to our 'Maps' page.  CUMC is located at Center Street and Benton Street, a few blocks from Ogden & Washington in the downtown Naperville district, and just blocks from Riverwalk & Centennial Parks, North Central College, Fifth Avenue Station, and all of the excitement of the area.  We are very close to 88 and 355, convenient to many workplaces, schools, residential neighborhoods, shops, restaurants, and parks.  We are thrilled to hold annual programming at The Little Theatre, and there are several exciting features that are happy to provide. Parking is simple and free (there is street parking on most blocks surrounding the venue), as well as many downtown garages.  We will have many spaces to work in, as well as the beautiful Sally Benton Park which is a stone's throw across the street, so that our students can occasionally eat outside, rehearse, play, and relax in the fresh air.  Our instructors are looking forward to our third year at the splendid Little Theatre, and to meeting and working with your children this coming summer.  We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality theatre arts programming, as well as life building skills that create the long-term healthy relationships that our students have grown accustomed to experiencing. We look forward to creating new memories with our students this summer and beyond.

Downtown Naperville is the embodiment all that suburban Chicago has to offer, which is home to upscale shops, one of-a-kind boutiques apartments, offices, parks, and cultural locales. Community United Methodist Church is a wonderful historic setting, which centers around an remarkable classical sanctuary that holds not only the venue's central speaker's stand, but also an expansive choir area and an authentic theatrical stage as well.  The Church, the atmosphere of the downtown district, and the families of Naperville and the metro suburbs make this an exciting opportunity for RMCT to continue sharing our unique youth arts expertise with a new group of students through our very best Chicagoland Directors and Instructors.

*Rocky Mountain Conservatory Theatre is an exclusively theatrical-based youth arts organization.  We are pleased to offer our programming at the wonderful space at Community United Methodist Church, Naperville, though we are not structurally affiliated with any religious organization.

Please refer to the "Parent Page" for Camp Day 1 audition information (coming in May). All camp registrants will receive an electronic packet by email in early to mid-May with all of the instructions and camper notices that are on this page, plus further individualized info specific to your student and family. *If your child is unable to attend the first day/s of camp for any reason (school or personal), we can arrange for an alternate audition/meeting with our Instructors/Directors (in-person or by video) and make every effort for them to be cast and involved without disruption to their participation. Students are welcome to come into camp at any hour of the day or stay during PM extended hours so that they can be as involved as possible until school commitments are over and so that starting 1-4 days late will not affect their casting, equality, or experience at all. Our Directors will spend extra one-on-one time with any absent student to ensure that they can have the most positive, fufilled, and valuable camp experience po\__ssible. If your student is missing even an entire week, we can work with them to make the camp experience in production work. If you are missing more days than you are able to afford in terms of tuition per camp day, please conatct us to discuss a reasonable pro-rated tuition amount. You can call or email us to enroll if you have very specific questions. We're happy to explain how we have worked with students who anticipated significant conflicts of time during summer camp before, and since it happens many, many times a year, we are very familiar with making things work for all interested families.

We have no problems - Only solutions!

Campers will do everything that it takes to put on a show. The day is divided into several class blocks with rotating activities including: Acting, Music/Voice, Dance, Art, and Rehearsal. Group warm-ups and closings with the entire Camp will take place at the beginning and end of each day. Additionally, Theatre Games and Improv, as well as Specialty classes and Workshops round out the fun. Summer Camp 2019 with RMCT will be filled with dynamic theatre experiences. Each student will participate in not one, but THREE performances of their production at the end of the session, which in addition to being the best and most fun part of camp, truly helps them expand on their self-confidence, conviction, and understanding of performing in front of an audience through repetition.  At the end of three weeks, audiences will be delighted with the productions that the students put on

*NOTE ABOUT LATER THAN JUNE 3rd START DATE FOR SOME DISTRICTS: If your child attends a school where they will have to attend a make-up day for the district's weather / calendar rescheduling, or any required testing on 6/3 or later, or for any reason will miss the first day/s of our camp, it is not a problem! We can meet with you or them at another date, have them come into camp at any time of the day, come into camp after school is over in the afternoon, do a Skype meet and greet and audition with our Directors, or we may even be scheduling a special pre-camp day the weekend before camp begins if a large amount of our students are affected. We will work with your family to best assure that your child can certainly still attend camp, have a proper and completely fair audition process and casting, and be welcomed into camp and caught up appropriately as soon as they are able. We may even wait until the second day to cast the shows and extend the camp day past 3:30 during certain days of the first week to make up for any lost time that first day. Everyone who enrolls in camp will be ensured a role with individual speaking lines in the show regardless of if they are unable to attend the first day because of school obligations or not. Give us a call or send an email if you have any questions. We are happy to help! Contact@RMCTonline.com or (630) 352-4490
